Born in Poland 1968. He started training tang lang quan in 1985 under shifu Slawomir Milczarek (shifu Luo Guang Yu linegue). In 1995 moved to Germany, continuing his training under shifu Kai Uwe Pel. Marek Piechotka travelled two times (1996 and 2002) to Yantai to train under shifu Yu Tian Cheng.
Skilled competitor, Marek Piechotka won many medals in Polish championships. In 2002 won gold medal in weapon form and silver medal in hand form at the International Wu Shu Tournament in Yantai. In addition he participated in two profesional free fighting competitions in Perugia (Italy).
Marek Piechotka is the Vicepresident of the “Polish Praying Mantis Kung Fu Society”.
