Born in 1968, started training tang lang quan in 1989 under shifu Slawomir Milczarek. He travelled two times to Yantai (1996 and 2000) for training under shifu Yu Tian Cheng.
He won many medals in Polish championshis. Silver medal in World Championships in two mens form (together with Marek Borowek). In 2000 in International Tanglang Tournament in Qingdao won two gold medals (hand form and weapon form).
Tomasz Zelek is the Treasurer of the Polish Praying Mantis Kung Fu Society.
