Student of shifu Lee Lung Chi.
Being shifu Lee Lung Chi and shifu Yuan Wen Jie (Qi Xing Tang Lang) personal friends, shifu Lee Lung Chi recommended his student (shifu Hermes Martins) to follow-up his tang lang quan studies with shifu Yuan Wen Jie in Hong Kong.
Shifu Hermes Martis travelled to Hong Kong in 1990 for the first time and spent about three weeks training under shifu Yuan Wen Jie. After that trip shifu Hermes Martins travelled to Hong Kong several times to train again.
In 1995 shifu Hermes Martins stood back of gong fu and he is no longer teaching actively.
