Ian Chow started training from birth being the son of Grand Master Mo Chow student of Grand Master Paul Chan and Grand Master Jin Chan. His first memories are of Kung Fu training. Ian accomplished the rank of Sifu in several systems including Choi Lay Fut, Hung Gar, and Do Pai.
Ian has been a Canadian National Kung Fu champion several times, and has worked as a stuntman on countless productions including Kung Fu the Legend continues. Ian has been teaching Kung Fu at several schools in the Toronto area, he is a top instructor at Hong Luck Kung Fu school, he has also travelled teaching seminars internationally and has a branch of his club in Greece.
Ian has combined his styles together and has named his club Northern Legs Southern Fist. He started training Tai Chi Praying Mantis with Sifu Rob Moses in 1993 and was promoted to the rank of Sifu 11th generation in 1998. Ian continues to be very active in the Toronto and Canadian Kung Fu scene teaching and organizes many demonstrations; he also coaches a world champion lion dance team.[nggallery id=4]
